Great coffee and a business opportunity
Recently we had a visitor who wanted to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we were asked to provide some entertainment and food.
- music and dancing on the boat
- vegetarian food when we got to the island destination
- firework display
And all of this included in the charter. We had to answer in the negative even though we tried to come up with some solutions. The islands pride themselves on their fresh seafood and trying to get vegetarian food for 30 within the budget was impossible. the boat is very stable as it can go out to sea but we thought that 30 people dancing on the boat was a tad dangerous. As for fireworks on a boat; distress flares etc, we thought that it was not a good idea.
Notwithstanding the difficulty with the above wedding anniversary we are taking a wedding party of 6 out for an evening cruise with champagne and canapes and looking forward to it. A very quite affair cruising Pattaya Bay.
With the high season approaching quickly; decent accommodation from November through to January is becoming scare or expensive. One example of a hotel I was recommending (but no longer) will be charging 5,000 baht per night for a large studio they are now having problems selling at 1,200 baht per night.
With this in mind we can recommend one of the best serviced apartments in Pattaya. Click on the link and see what they have left. A large 1 bed suite can be had for as little as 1,800 baht per night. Or drop them an email for a quote for longer stays.
Fancy a day at sea with the boys? 21/11/12 @ 10 am leaving Ocean Marina. Cost is 1,200 baht per person for a day to remember at a secluded beach with decent sand and clean seas. If you require transport to and from the Marina is 200 baht per person.
Numbers are limited to 25 so first come first served.
